Design and quote
We design a system around your home, your roof and how you use power, then refine the design and the pricing until it fits your budget.

Site visit and go-ahead
Once the numbers work we come out to confirm the details on the roof and finalise the design. You give the go-ahead and we lock in the timeline.

Install and switch-on
Our own EWRB registered team does the install, then the system is inspected, signed off to New Zealand standards and connected.

Which areas do you install solar in?

What happens when you quote?We visit and look at your roof’s orientation, shading and structure, and go through your recent power bills.
From that we put together a written quote showing the equipment, the expected output and the payback, so you can judge it before you commit. -
How much does a solar system cost?It depends on the size of the system, your roof, and whether you add a battery, so we quote from your own power bills rather than a price list.
Your quote itemises the equipment and shows the expected savings. Most major banks lend for solar at a reduced rate as a top-up on an existing home loan with them, 0% to 1% for an introductory term of three to five years, and some require a SEANZ member to do the install, which we are. How long does it take to get solar installed?There are a few stages: the design and quote, the site visit to confirm it, the connection application to your lines company, and the installation itself.
We give you realistic dates for each stage when we quote. -
Do you install solar for businesses?Yes. As well as homes, we design systems for commercial sites, sized to their own daytime loads.
